Co-founded PENConsulting after serving Chevron-Texaco's Indonesian subsidiaries for almost 40 years, about 37 years with PT Caltex Pacific Indonesia (CPI), an upstream oil and gas company,and three years with Amoseas Indonesia (AI), a power company. He held Senior Vice President & Deputy Managing Director position prior to retiring from CPI and was Executive Advisor with AI. Anton is a Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Executive Director of the Indonesian Electrical Power Society (MKI). He is also a member of the National Board of Management of the Indonesian Society for Human Resources (PPSMI) and the Advisory Board of the Indonesian Power Engineers Association (IATKI). He is a �EE� from ITB (1962) and University of Pennsylvania (1966). He received Petroleum Professional Diploma from the International Petroleum Institute, Tulsa, Oklahoma (1976). He attended Executive Development Programs of the Stanford University (Palo Alto, CA) and the National University of Singapore (1983), Southern Methodist University (Senior Executive Program for Petroleum Industry - 1988), and Princeton University, New Jersey (1989).
A PENConsulting co-founder, his broad educational background in Architecture and Urban Design combined with Building Science at the University of New South Wales and the University of Sydney from 1963-1971, brought him close to the issues of environmental and energy matters. After completing an MBA degree in Indonesia, he further acquired the senior executive international training program in Partnership and Financing Strategies for Local Development at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design in 1999. He was nominated to be the Vice Chairman of the Jakarta Urban Design Advisory Board for two terms by the Governor of Jakarta, to oversee the development of urban fabric of the city. Currently he is the Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Mining and Energy Community (Bimasena), the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Indonesian Institute of the Energy Economics, and sat at various professional associations in Architecture and Energy sectors.
Upon receiving his Master�s degree in Petroleum Engineering from University of Oklahoma (1961), he joined the Institute of Technology of Bandung as lecturer. In 1966, he joined PT Caltex Pacific Indonesia and held various key positions in the company in Indonesia and USA, including Manager of Reservoir Engineering, Coordinator of Exploration and Production and the member of negotiation team for contract extensions. His position prior to retirement in1989 was VP Special Projects. Since 1990 he served as a consultant in oil and gas property evaluation and contract negotiation. Between 1995 and 1998 he was responsible to develop Geothermal Power Plant in Kamojang. Madjedi obtained Master of Law degree from the Pajajaran University in 2005 and Doctor of Law degree from the same university in May 2008.
Upon graduation with Diploma Engineering for High Voltage and Electrical Equipment from Institut of Technische Hochschule Karlsruhe, Germany, he worked for Asea Brown Boveri (ABB) in Mannheim, Germany as a member of the transmission & distribution research team. He returned to Indonesia and worked as a member of the energy planning team at the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) from 1990-1993. He then held various management and executive positions, including Country Manager for Power Generation of Rolls Royce International 1999-2011 and founded and became CEO of PT Basra Hydro Power, an IPP in hydropower Projects, and PT Teknoprener Surya Energi since 2014 to presents. Andri has been Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Electrical Power Society (MKI) since 2015; he was Executive Director of MKI 2008-2014, and Director of International Business Cooperation of MKI 2011-2015. Andri is a certified professional engineer of the Indonesian Engineers Association. He was President of the CEPSI International Conference and Exhibition in Bali in 2012
Kumar T. Singam currently establishing PEN Consulting presence in Malaysia for energy related cross border advisory work within the Asean region. He is actively promoting sustainable energy development and focuses on clean energy power generation and technologies targeted at the developing countries in the region. He is one of the founders of Fyve Nine Ventures a leading impact investing development company head quartered in Malaysia and sits on the board of several other venture companies in Asia and the Middle East. He has more than 22 years of experience focused mainly in the energy and infrastructure sectors covering project engineering through to M&A activities. He previously served as the Executive Director of a Malaysian based Clean Energy Fund for SE Asia, Camco South East Asia Ltd, a JV previously established between Camco International Ltd (UK Listed) and Khazanah Nasional Bhd (Malaysian sovereign wealth fund) prior to full divestment to Khazanah in 2013.Kumar also served on the board of its venture companies and Executive Director of Bio Power Climate Care Sdn Bhd, the first of its kind biogas grid connected power plant in Malaysia. Kumar was part of the early executive upon the listing of Camco International Ltd. UK and co-founded Camco SE Asia in Kuala Lumpur. He originated several clean energy projects from small hydro to methane capture projects and successfully created one of the largest clean energy asset portfolio in SE Asia. As a leading expert in CDM and emission trading, he regularly advised governments and large financial institutions on carbon asset origination through to commercialisation. Prior to his foray in clean energy development and emission trading, Kumar was Regional Manager of Power Generation business in Asia for Rolls Royce Energy based in Singapore for 3 years from 2004. He also previously served for 4 years as the Area Sales Manager for Alstom Power Asia Pacific based in Kuala Lumpur and responsible for regional sales and business development of new EPC projects for Gas fired and Combined Cycle Power Plants. Kumar started as a gas turbine performance engineer with ABB Power Generation and moved to Baden, Switzerland where together with a team of world leading gas turbine and CCPP experts, he developed innovative water steam system cycle designs for efficient CCPP currently used in most advanced gas fired power plants in operation today. Kumar holds a high distinction Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Toledo, Ohio and participated in several executive management programs throughout Switzerland and the UK. He spoke on several energy conferences and also member board of PowerGen Asia from 2000-2003. He also spoke at several Carbon Forums in Asia and participated in COP under United Nations Framework on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
